Finally Took My 370Z Out for a Spring Morning Run

I am a JDM car guy.

I have a Nissan 370z in manual transmission but I don’t get to drive it that often as I work from home. Plus it goes into winter storage given the Toronto winters here and I haven’t thought of trying it with snow tires yet

But now that Spring weather is here, and the temperature is above 7c degree, it’s summer tire temperature and therefore time to take my 370z out of storage.

You can see in the video above, it was great to take the car out for a run. I love driving manual, and there’s just something soothing and calming in going out for a weekend morning drive, when there’s no traffic, or not that many cars on the road yet.

What I did notice while driving today is there aren’t that many sports car out there still. Maybe it was too early in the morning. I did see a Dodge Challenger with low rumbling exhaust. And a Genesis G80 that went fairly fast on the highway - see the 26:55 mark during my third highway on ramp pull and you will see that Genesis on the highway

I hope I see more sports cars out there - I worry we’re a dying breed.
